Which test kit do I need?
MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), MDA, MDE:
Ideally you need the minimum of the following 2 reagents: Gallic Acid Reagent + Marquis Reagent
This is because Gallic Acid Reagent reacts to only a very few substances, most of which are found in the manufacture of MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), MDA, MDE. Therefore this acts as a POSITIVE test for MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), MDA, MDE. However it cannot show adulterants.
Marquis Reagent acts as a adulterant indicator after testing with Gallic Acid Reagent. However, as MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), MDA, MDE results are dark and easily misinterpreted it cannot be used as a standalone test.
It is possible, but risky, to test with just 1 reagent, generally Marquis reagent. However, you have to be extremely good at testing and understand the process fully to be able to get a reliable test. Our experience is that nearly all individuals that test do not have enough experience to test to this level, therefore require additional reagents to improve their adulterant testing ability. Hence why 4 reagents are considered a minimum for anyone who is not highly experienced with testing.
Therefore the Test Kit 1 - Gallic Acid Reagent Kit (4 reagents) should be considered a minimum.
If you want to achieve a higher standard of testing both in confirming results and identifying adulterants then you need to go for the Test kit 2 - Mecke reagent kit (5 reagent kit) or the top of the range Test Kit 3 - Enhanced reagent kit (6 reagents)

Testing for PMA when mixed with MDMA:
The only test that can undertake this is Robatest/Simon's (using a buffer)

Testing for PMA or PMMA:
Test Kit 3 - Enhanced reagent kit (6 reagents) £15.95 + (P&P) = £17.90

Distinguish between MDA ("Sass") and MDMA/MDE:

Distinguish between Speed (Amphetamine) & Methamphetamine:

LSD / Psychedelics:
Ehrlich Reagent is a POSITIVE test for Psilocin, Psilocybin, 4-ACO-DMT, LSD, DMT, AMT, 5-MEO-AMT. 5-MEO-MIPT, 5-MEO-DMT
Therefore Test Kit 4 - Ehrlich Reagent (4 reagents) £10.95 + (P&P) = £12.90
The additional reagents are used to detect adulterants.

MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly) + Psychedelics:

Cocaine:
Test kit 5 - Cocaine Set (~5 reagents)

Test kit 5 - Cocaine Set + Ehrlich Reagent
This kit has a specific 3-phase Cocaine test. Which is the best Cocaine test available. Other specific Cocaine tests are just the first phase of this test (a Blue test) and hence are nowhere near as comprehensive.
Ehrlich Reagent reagent can also test for Procaine & Benzocaine which are both common adulterants and hence is a worthwhile addition to test kit 5.
